1,1,4,7,10,10-六甲基三乙烯四胺可用作合成理想線性無規共聚物的試劑，該共聚物在單個聚合物鏈中同時含有乙烯基聚合物和聚酯單元。1 1,1,4,7,10, 10-六甲基三乙烯四胺與CuBr絡合構成催化絡合物，用于聚[ε-己內酯]與N,N-二甲基氨基-2-乙基甲基丙烯酸酯單體通過原子轉移自由基聚合（ATRP）的共聚反應。2 可用作催化劑在水性表面引發-ATRP 中生長聚 (N,N-二甲基丙烯酰胺) (PDMA).3
