描述

本品為阻燃性增塑劑，幾乎能與主要工業用的所有樹脂和橡膠相容，與聚氯乙烯的相容性更為優良。揮發性低、耐塞性和耐候性好，與鄰苯二甲酸酯類增塑劑配合使用，可提高制品的韌性和耐候性，用于聚氯乙烯薄膜時，可提高抗張強度，改善耐磨性耐濕性。也可作為合成橡膠的阻燃性增塑劑。包括本品在內的磷酸酯類增塑劑，最大特點是具有阻燃性，抗菌性也較強。產量最大的磷酸三甲苯酯（TCP）、磷酸甲苯二苯酯（CDP）和磷酸三苯酯。磷酸酯的毒性一般都較強，本品是允許用于食品包裝材料的唯一磷酸酯。
