2-(4-Bromophenyl)-acetamidine is a bromo-substituted analog of 2-Phenylacetamidine (P319130); a useful synthetic intermediate used in the synthesis of non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. 2-Phenylacetamidine is also used to prepare naltrexone-derived pyrido- and pyrimidomorphinans.
