描述

青霉胺是青霉素類抗生素的特征性降解產物。一個銅原子與兩個青霉胺分子結合。青霉胺可減少胱氨酸尿癥中過量的胱氨酸排泄。這是通過青霉胺和胱氨酸之間的二硫鍵交換，導致形成易于排泄的青霉胺-半胱氨酸二硫化物。青霉胺會干擾原膠原分子之間交聯的形成，并在新形成時將其裂解。青霉胺降低 IgM 類風濕因子并抑制 T 細胞活性。
